Our Story

When we started planning for our children’s education, we knew one thing clearly: the traditional model wasn’t going to work for our family. After reading deeply on the history of compulsory schooling and the growing body of research around alternative education, we chose to homeschool — and never looked back.

The challenge we faced was practical. We both have careers we love and weren’t willing to walk away from. So we set out to build something that didn’t require us to choose.

What we created is Arrowhead Farm Enrichment Program — a place where families connected with a homeschooling charter can bring their children for structured curriculum support, meaningful socialization, and a daily rhythm that public or private school simply can’t offer. Kids learn alongside experienced educators, build real friendships within a consistent cohort, and engage with the world through their hands, not just a screen.

As the program grows with our children, so does our vision. We plan to expand into financial literacy, emotional intelligence, entrepreneurship, the trades, and the arts — alongside all traditional academic subjects. What Arrowhead offers isn’t just an alternative to school. It’s something better: an education built around who children actually are, and who they’re becoming.

Our Program

Arrowhead Farm’s Enrichment Program offers curriculum support for young homeschooled children, ages 4 to 6. Located near Rohnert Park, California, operating Monday through Thursday.

The program supports homeschooling families by providing structured curriculum time, meaningful socialization, and a rich outdoor environment where children learn through farming, gardening, and creative nature exploration.

More than a program, it’s a place where kids play, grow, and build lasting friendships — all within a small, intentional cohort that stays together season after season.

Arrowhead Farm is an enrichment program, not an accredited school — families must be enrolled with a homeschool charter to participate (see our Charter Schools page for options).

We partner with experienced, specialized instructors to provide curriculum and tutoring support throughout the day, so your child gets real academic guidance alongside everything the farm has to offer. Drop them off in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon — we’ll nurture the rest.

Our Core Tenants

1) Nature-Inspired Learning

The natural world is the richest classroom there is. Every season, every creature, every garden row offers lessons in science, stewardship, patience, and wonder that no textbook can replicate.

2) Outdoor Education

Children think more clearly, move more freely, and engage more deeply when they’re outside. Fresh air, open space, and physical connection to the environment aren’t a break from learning — they’re the point.

3) Cohort & Community

Children grow deeper when they grow together. Our cohort model builds lasting bonds between kids, families, and educators — a close-knit community that learns, evolves, and strengthens with every passing season.
